Maneto Architectural Joinery is a Sydney-based manufacturer of custom, high detail architectural joinery products for the high-end residential and commercial office markets. Starting out as a team of 3 in 1997, Maneto has since expanded to employ over 60 experienced and qualified staff, including Project Managers, CAD Drawers, Estimators, and qualified Tradesmen.
Using leading edge manufacturing solutions and technology, Maneto is able to take any client’s joinery needs from vision to completed product. After cost planning with a client, products are custom-designed for each individual space using CAD software, manufactured directly from the design in a fully automated workshop, and professionally installed.
Maneto primarily works alongside project architects and designers, manufacturing and installing joinery in the context of a larger development project. In these situations, the group can also provide input and suggestions that enhance project feasibility and lower overall cost.
“Many of our projects are challenging to their own degree,” says Director Rocco Pellegrino, “but there’s nothing we can’t do or achieve.” The company’s fit out of the Crown Perth Casino’s Presidential Suite was one such project. Maneto is currently carrying out a high-profile commercial fit out in Sydney’s Intercontinental Double Bay hotel.
As a subcontractor, Maneto has contributed to a number of award-winning developments, as well as several office fit outs throughout Sydney, including the Gateway Building, the AECOM office at 420 George Street, and the Maddocks law office, located at 123 Pitt Street.
Strong working relationships with both their suppliers and their clients are of the utmost importance to Maneto. “Building rapport with your clients and suppliers, and knowing that you can trust that they will deliver, and they can trust that you will deliver, is the most important thing in today’s building industry,” Rocco says. “When people know that you’re not going to let them down, they’re more than happy to give you the work.”
Pointing out Sydney’s consistent internal growth, Rocco is uncertain as to how the city will expand in the future. “I don’t know whether that will affect us in a good or a bad way,” he says. “I think Sydney can only grow so much with the space it has without going out further.”
Maneto’s Director since the company’s establishment, Rocco & his fellow directors manage the companys operations & projects. “We’ve achieved everything that we’ve set out to achieve,” he says. “We set objectives every year, and our objective for 2015 is to grow further.”
